Our Mission

The mission of Depression Ministry is to care for those struggling with depression and identify how God uses it for spiritual growth.

Our Vision

The vision of Depression Ministry is to use the growth we experience through our pain to demonstrate the unique love of Jesus through grace, compassion, and empathy.

Goals

To honor the greatest commandment: love the Lord our God with all our hearts, souls and minds
To practice the second greatest commandment: love others through the actions we take despite at times not loving ourselves
To help those in the midst of despair find ways they can turn suffering into a benefit for others
To be a means to communicate to loved ones our struggles in comprehensible ways so they are better equipped to care for us
To bring a measure of peace to Christians experiencing mental illness in recognizing that while our desire to be healed is valid, God has plans for the pain He allows in our lives
